so how fucking dorky have i become:

http://homepage.mac.com/ericshultz/TwiggyBday/

But oh well, life is fun.

and dear wal-mart, advertising on the Anthony Bourdain show is kinda not your target market, and your angle of showing white suburban folk filling up their SUV's talking about how in this time of high gas prices they shop at wal-mart to save money. BULLSHIT...maybe they should get some smaller cars or move out of the suburbs and using the comment of riding a moped to work as a negative, it is not a bad idea for most people. and why would you advertise on the anthony bourdain: no reservations show.

jesus, idiots.

meanwhile, all whom have the chance, you must go see: "king of kong: fistful of quarters" as it is simply the best movie/best documentary I have seen in a long time.

life love live [03 Jan 2007|10:47am]
ok well,

the past few months have been quick and had their levels of pleasure and pain, but more its a new year and it is finally time to move on

about to start day one of my last two days of retail, but the simple pleasure is that i get to stay with apple.

next monday i officially start making enough money to survive and to finally feel justified at having this expensive miami degree

ill be able to get myself out of debt within a couple years

ill be able to afford the things i want (for the most part)

i want to get a scooter soon for the commute

i will have weekends to myself for the first time in my life

ill be having a consistent schedule

more to be mentioned later

as the clouds continue to lift

wanna know what is stressful

not knowing what job you are going to have a mere 2-4 weeks from now. stressful. having to kiss the ass of a person whom is probably fucking over your efforts, stressful. having a few people helping me out and looking out for me, lifesaving. a bellyfull of beer and bbq after visiting with some people i come to realise i have known technically since the 90's, rewarding.

more on this soon of course, once im not too stressed to type.

so in a time of greater financial troubles and also fedupness (yes that is right now a word) im letting go of some of my technology that is no longer as necessary to me (some completely useless, and some that can be sold for buying something newer and cheaper in exchange)

fixing all the problems of its tempting but flawed predecessor

and adding in brian eno ringtones

certain things have inspired me much recently

the dj shadow show was one of the first

i dunno what to make of it yet, but it feels like it used to, back in college, when i was inspired, it comes in flashes, but its not dead, what should i do with it, its as if i need guidance for it but i know i can do it myself, but am afraid

somehow my obsession with things must converge with my obsession with creation tendencies

i just want to collect vintage modern watches and get the new sony e-reader

but to what ends

i think i need to get some focus, but from where, time to start emailing some people for direction

quote from frank ghery's therapist in the highly inspirational _sketches of frank ghery_

when a normal person comes to me; they want to know how they can make their life better

when an artist comes to me: they want to know how they can change the world

the amusing thing about this is that they do not even seem to realise it is a result of their own doing, make religion pop culture, and like pop culture icons, jesus can become the next vanilla ice
